Had to fix the straps on the rings, but went 5-5-5 on muscle ups and decides to go for 30.
From there I went 3-2-etc. ending at 29. Sadness. If I had 30 more seconds (if I didn't have to fix the straps) I'm pretty sure I could have hit 1 more.

Then 4 (maybe 5, I think 4 + a miss) at 135, straps for the last 3/4. Accomplished a goal for the year of power snatching 135 fairly convincingly, I'd say.

Snatch + Clean and Jerk + Press/Push Press
Snatch
Superman pull hold ~3s, full snatch from floor
Worked up to 135, close on 145, 145 missed behind, which I'll take, back to 135 for a bunch of reps
Tried to fix the rocking back on my heels too far issue (toes were coming off the ground) on the pull. Found that I make a lot more lifts if I get my head through and chin down. I have a bad habit of keeping my chin up, which prevents me from getting the bar back.

Worked to a single at 145 (was a struggle, slammed the bar, swore at it and spit in the grass when I finished the lift), dropped back down to 135, missed a bunch once I got up to 140/145. Recorded a miss, gonna try to figure it out sometime.

Snatchx2 + Weighted pull-up + Push press
--Snatch--
Worked up to 135, missed 145 a bunch of times. Fighting with straps didn't help.
I pretty much couldn't snatch with the straps on; when I would ditch them, the lift felt much more agressive and clean. For example, After failing 145 a bunch, I dropped back down to 135, but couldn't hit that either. I ditched the straps and hit an easy, clean lift at 135.
--Snatch-- (took a break between the previous session and this one)
Complex: pull (2-3s pause)+pull(2-3s pause)+snatch
Hit a few of these at each of 115, 125, 135 (one complex at a time)
Did a couple pulls with pauses at 165
Figured out that I was using my straps wrong, so they were much more helpful in this session. I was about to order a different style of strap, since these were driving me nuts. Then I wrapped them with the "tail" towards the inside of the bar, and everything suddenly made sense.
"Repetition is king."
Then I just banged out some snatches at 115. Probably like 10? I threw a couple ugly power snatches in there just to see how they felt.

Work to a heavy triple- 53 (1.5 pood KB)
Then 6x3 at 90% - 47.5lbs (90% is 47.7)

No real specific plan going into this except 5 reps per set. I wanted it to be heavy and I wanted to focus on not letting the bar slip down my shoulders, as often happens in my jerk.

Thruster/Burpee/KB swing
Partner WOD – 10 minute AMRAP:
10 Thrusters (95/65lb)
6 Burpees
10 Kettlebell Swings (53/35lb)
Only one partner will be moving at a time and cannot advance to the next movement until both partners have completed the movement. For example Partner A does 10 thrusters then Partner B does their 10 thrusters, then they move on. It does not matter who does the movement first so if Partner A starts the thrusters it does not mean they need to start for the burpees.
Paul and I got 4 rounds + 9 KB swings, I went first. Sore as hell from Fran.

This took a long time. I went first, finished in ~7:15. I had more than that in rest before going back the other way. Power cleans were the longest part.
I finished in 28 something, not sure when my team ended up finishing.
